1. Who we are
"MorePerLead", "we" and "us" means Jon Odalen, doing business as MorePerLead. "You" means the event organizer that signs up.
2. The service
We find prospective exhibitors and sponsors for your event (past exhibitors and sponsors who haven't rebooked, and look-alike companies from comparable events), and contact them on your behalf with the offer you approve. We answer routine replies only from the price sheet and FAQ you approve and pass everything else to your named contact. Sponsors contract with and pay you, not us.
We don't currently offer online checkout or rebooking links, e-signature, or a client dashboard.
3. Trial
The trial lasts 15 days, starting on the day the first campaign email is sent. You can cancel at any time during the trial. If you cancel during the trial, you owe no registration fee; commission still applies to any approved prospect that books from outreach sent during the trial (section 5). Nothing converts automatically: if you don't sign up by the end of the trial, outreach stops and no fee is charged. If you sign up after the trial, your pilot continues without a restart, either month to month or under a 24-month agreement (section 11).
4. Registration fee
When you sign up after the trial, we charge a one-time registration fee (administrative set-up) of $299 per product; for the sponsor and exhibitor service, the fee is $299. It covers setting up your account and campaign, is not a fee for results, and is not credited against commission. The registration fee is non-refundable, including if the agreement is later canceled. Apart from this registration fee and commission, there are no other setup, monthly or minimum fees.
5. Commission
- First year: 20% of first-year revenue paid to you by a sourced prospect. This applies to lapsed prospects (a company that exhibited or sponsored in a prior edition and was on your approved list when the campaign started) and look-alike prospects (a company that wasn't in your prior 2 editions and that you approved before outreach).
- After the first year: 12% of revenue paid to you by that sponsor, or 10% under a 24-month agreement, for the length of your agreement. We always work under a signed agreement; if a 24-month agreement isn't canceled at the end of its term, it continues month to month at the same rates.
- First-year revenue means what the sponsor actually pays for the campaigned edition: booth, sponsorship and add-ons bought in the same order. It excludes taxes, pass-through costs (such as drayage and utilities) and refunds.
- No sponsor payment, no commission.
6. Attribution
A booking counts when a company (a) was on the list you approved before outreach, (b) was sent our outreach, and (c) books the campaigned edition, by replying to us or directly with your team, within 120 days of our last message to it. Companies you excluded, and companies that booked before our first message reached them, don't count. We send you the attribution list at least 7 days before any invoice, and you can dispute any line. For the campaigned edition you agree to share the final exhibitor and sponsor list, or let us check it against the public directory, so attribution can be confirmed.
7. Invoices and payment
We invoice commission after the sponsor has paid you. Invoices are due within 15 days. If a sponsor cancels or is refunded, we credit back the commission on the refunded amount. We never collect sponsor payments.
8. Approvals and exclusions
Nothing is sent to a company until you approve it and the message. You can exclude any company before it is contacted; excluded companies are never billed. We use only the offers, prices and wording you approve.
9. Sending and compliance
You choose one of two sending options. Option 1 (standard): we send from a mailbox we set up and operate for your campaign, using a sender name you approve; each message names your event, identifies itself as a sponsorship or exhibit sales offer, is signed by your staff contact, and has a footer with your organization's legal name and postal address, a statement that it is sent on your event's behalf by MorePerLead, and a working opt-out. Option 2 (upgrade bonus): when you sign up after the trial, we can send from your own mailbox or a sending subdomain you delegate to us, authenticated with SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Option 2 requires your signed written sending authorization, which sets the sender name and the footer wording (always including your legal name and postal address, the MorePerLead sender notice and an opt-out), and you can revoke it at any time. You (or your domain administrator) add and maintain the DNS records; we don't access your domain registrar. Option 2 is set up with us and is not automated or self-serve. Under either option, every message identifies the event, identifies itself as a sales offer, and includes your organization's legal name and valid postal address and a working opt-out.
You give us your organization's legal name and a valid postal address (a street address, or a PO Box or private mailbox registered under U.S. Postal Service rules) when you start a trial, confirm they are accurate, and tell us before either changes. We don't send campaign email without them.
Opt-outs apply to all of your organization's events, are honored promptly (never more than 10 business days), are shared with you, and are kept on a suppression list. We follow the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and pause sending if bounce or complaint rates rise. We don't send text messages or make calls to prospects. You confirm you're entitled to authorize outreach for your event and to share any list you give us.
10. Data and relationships
You own your sponsor data, lists, replies and bookings, and the relationships. We use them only to run your campaign, never sell or share them, and don't use your lists to contact your exhibitors for other events. We delete your data within 30 days of cancellation unless you ask us to keep it, except billing records and suppression entries we must keep. See the privacy notice.
11. Agreement type and cancellation
Month-to-month: either side can cancel at any time in writing (the contact form is fine), and outreach stops within one business day. "Cancel anytime" applies to month-to-month customers only. 24-month agreement: a basic agreement in which you let MorePerLead run this service for your event exclusively for 24 months; commission after a sponsor's first year is 10% (section 5). If a 24-month agreement isn't canceled at the end of its term, it continues month to month at the same rates. We always work under a signed agreement. Commission applies to bookings that result from outreach sent before cancellation, as set out in section 5.
12. No guarantee; liability
We don't guarantee any number of bookings or any revenue. Report counts are approximate and based on public data on the snapshot date shown. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. On month-to-month there is no exclusivity, and you can use other sales channels at the same time.
13. Other terms
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. We may update these terms; changes don't apply to a signed agreement unless both sides agree in writing.
